GRID Ranking Week 3
A wild Talladega finish dropped Kyle Busch down to third place, meaning SuperCars’ racer Scott McLaughlin continues to lead the GRID Ranking for the third weekend. The longest opening leading was IndyCar Sébastien Bourdais in 2017. Bourdais held the lead until week 4, so if McLaughlin can keep the lead after next week, he’ll be in record territory for the initial GRID Ranking leader. Penske in fact has the top two drivers, Josef Newgarden slides up into second place and this is the first time one team owner has the top two spots in the GRID Ranking.
Next week, MotoGP, NASCAR, and SuperCars will run.
