Week 4 What to Watch

Scott McLaughlin continues to lead the GRID Ranking, tying the record for most consecutive weekends lead since opening weekend. This upcoming weekend, MotoGP, NASCAR, and SuperCars will be running, and Scott could hold onto the lead. Here’s Week 4 What to Watch!

PIRTEK Perth Super Sprint

Scott McLaughlin won the last four races here and can easily sweep the weekend again. However, this is the first race weekend since the SuperCars Series made aero changes to the Mustang. McLaughlin has said this “added fire to the belly” and isn’t showing any signs of weakness. If Scott McLaughlin finishes fourth or better in each race, he will keep the lead. Also, a win from pole position in one race may assure the point lead no matter what happens in the other race. However, Josef Newgarden isn’t the only threat to McLaughlin lead this upcoming weekend.

Kyle Busch Dominance

Kyle Busch survived Talladega with a top 10 finish, fell to third in the GRID Ranking, but can leap frog back to the lead. If Kyle Busch wins at the Monster Mile (Dover), and Scott McLaughlin fails to finish third or better in both races, Kyle could take the GRID Ranking lead. Also, if there is a larger field in Dover, this would aid Kyle assuming he finishes in the top 3. Many different factors, but a win, some outside luck, and Kyle could take the GRID Ranking lead.

MotoGP Repeat Winner?

Three races into the MotoGP season and three different winners. The defending GRID World Champion crashed out at Circuits of the Americas, Marc is looking to rebound back with a win, but can he do it, or will a fourth different winner be crowned?
